Inbound Customer Service Agent

As a customer service agent, your main job is to help customers by responding to their messages. You won’t be making phone calls in this role.

Here’s what you’ll be doing: You’ll get paid to answer live chat messages on a company’s website or social media. This means you’ll reply to customer questions, share links to products, and offer discounts.

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to connect with customers and provide helpful solutions with empathy.
  2. Good listening, speaking, and writing skills.
  3. Basic computer skills and the ability to talk on the phone while using a computer.
  4. A preference for a flexible schedule.
  5. Being able to work well independently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Talk to customers about the company’s products and services.
  2. Reach out to potential customers.
  3. Meet sales targets on time.
  4. Handle customer questions and complaints.
  5. Schedule follow-up appointments to keep customers informed.
  6. Create sales materials to show to customers.

Details:

  • Contract: No fixed term
  • Rate: $35 per hour
  • Requirements: You need a device like a phone, tablet, or laptop to access social media and chat functions. You should be able to work on your own, follow instructions, and have at least 5 hours available each week. Plus, you need a reliable internet connection.
  • Weekly hours: 5 – 40 hours
  • Location: You can work online from anywhere, but we prefer candidates in the United States.
