Embark on an exciting path into the gaming industry with our beginner-level At Home Game Tester role. This position is specially designed for those new to the field, offering the unique opportunity to work remotely and on a flexible schedule.
As part of our team, you’ll get hands-on experience with pre-release video games, playing a crucial role in identifying bugs, glitches, and areas for improvement. Your feedback on gameplay, graphics, and overall player enjoyment will directly influence the final quality of games, making your role vital to the gaming experience enjoyed by users worldwide.
Rate: $35 per hour (Depending on the complexity of the app and the detail required for the review)
Key Responsibilities:
- Play through pre-release versions of video games to identify any bugs or glitches.
- Provide detailed feedback on gameplay mechanics, graphics, story, and overall enjoyment.
- Complete specific test cases and scenarios to check game functionality and performance.
- Work collaboratively with a team of testers and developers to discuss findings and suggestions for improvements.
- Keep accurate records of testing activities, including bug reports and feedback submissions.
Requirements:
- No prior experience in game testing required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify small, easily overlooked issues.
- Effective communication skills to clearly describe found issues and provide constructive feedback.
- A genuine passion for gaming and an understanding of different game genres and platforms.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a gaming PC or console as required by specific testing needs.
Hours per week: Flexible.
Location: Remote work online (United States preferred). We are currently expanding the number of remote workers for these positions significantly.
